PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training is a sure fire way to get you started, build your confidence and keep you motivated. Personal training sessions at Energy are one-on-one and focus on strength, cardio, and flexibility. Sessions are individually developed for you by your certified personal trainer. Whether your goals are to lose weight, gain muscle, improve sport performance, or injury prevention, an Energy personal trainer can help you achieve your goals.

Most new members found that working with their personal trainer, they gained the knowledge to navigate the equipment and make the best possible use of all the facility has to offer. More importantly, they were motivated, and gained the desire and determination to continue with their commitment to building a better physical lifestyle.

On-going members engage a personal trainer to give their work-out routine a refreshing new direction. Just results.

Profile:

My philosophy is that overall fitness is a life-long process and everyone must be patient with the results.  I like to teach functional exercises to people that suit their individual needs.  I have trained beginners to athletes and I have been training as a Certified Personal Trainer for almost 2 years.  I started training after 3 serious knee injuries from basketball and football.  Through my efforts, I managed to drop 50 pounds.  I have a B.A. from McMaster University and my CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  I attended Pearson High School.  I currently coach a senior football team.  I also teach and design dry-land hockey programs for kids.
