Monika is a personal trainer as well as a fitness figure athlete and she has proven to be a potential “Powerhouse” in the fitness industry upon entering a Natural Bodybuilding Competition in November 2006. Inspired by “The Best” in the industry Monika has plans to participate in more fitness competitions and push herself to new levels. Monika is optimistic, cheerful, loves challenges and follows her dreams. After successfully dropping 64 lbs she gained with her pregnancies, Monika is now 140 lbs, fit and a mother of two beautiful girls. Even with her busy household, Monika maintains a passion for fitness. As a 6 year old, she enjoyed skiing down the mountains in Europe with her family. As a teenager, Monika played basketball, volleyball and she has recently taken lessons in hip hop and modern dancing. Monika is a personal trainer at Energy Fitness and on a day to day basis helps her clients achieve their goals in today busy lifestyles. She is currently working towards her Sport Conditioning Certification. Monika’s personal philosophy is “Fitness is a life long formula to a better YOU!”

Marek has been with Energy Fitness for 9 years and is Personal Training (ACE) certified. Marek’s love for fitness began early as he studied and began his career as a Physical Education teacher in Poland. The clients that he trains span all ages, an array of professions, and he works the total body or customizes a program for those who specifically require attention for their personal needs. Marek fully enjoys his clients, those that are at the top of their game attending university on a sports scholarship, the week-end warriors and those who only have an hour or two a week to devote to their physical well being. He has a devoted group of members who renew year after year to keep their workouts fresh and invigorating. Marek frequently travels to British Columbia to study Dahn Yoga and DahnHakDo which is a form of energy martial arts. With this broad knowledge base, Marek designed Energy’s ‘HOT’ class which started in 2005. With his consistent ingenuity and creativity, he keeps this class energized and upbeat. Energy’s ‘HOT’ class is the most popular group fitness class. When Marek isn’t at Energy, you will find him enjoying his other passion… soccer.
