GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Classes are one hour in length and are included as part of your membership. All classes are geared for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels.

DANCING WITH THE STEP: Dance while defining your body! This is a non-intimidating, dance inspired, step class where we break down dance moves as you improve your fitness, rhythm and coordination. Every class will contain three blocks of choreography that will be taught gradually so that you can learn the movements easily. The same choreography will be used for up to four weeks and then one block will be removed and a new one taught. Every class will end with a group "performance" so that you can move, groove and shake it!

Legs, Bums and Tums: Just as the name suggests, this is a muscle conditioning work-out that concentrates on the lower body. It includes a lot of great leg, glute and abdominal work and the best news is that the class is suitable for everyone from the absolute beginner to the experienced exerciser.

Cycle Fit/Ball: Class incorporates 40 minutes on the bike and 20 minutes on the ball working on core exercises.

Yoga: Astanga; one of the most popular forms of yoga, offers a complete body flow that enhances your body and relaxes your mind. A series of core strengthening poses and focused breathing allows your body and mind to connect. It’s a relaxation for your mind while you ease your body into building concentrated poses that result in strength, and flexibility.

Mat Pilates: Designed to enhance your core strength and develop a leaner stronger body. This class is great compliment to those who are bored of their individual exercise routine and need a boost.

Mat Pilates Plus: Take your Pilates to the next level with studio equipment that includes weights, flex bands, rings and stability balls.

H.O.T. CIRCUIT: A high energy circuit style training class led by Energy's top personal trainer. This class is loaded with more than 15 innovative stations plus cardio. Hot Circuit is designed to maximize calorie burning while working every major muscle group. A dynamic group work-out allowing you to work at your own safe and effective pace.   Exclusive to Energy Fitness

Cycle Fit: A low impact cardiovascular workout on the Spin Cycle Bikes. It is challenging and stimulating and allows the participants to set their own pace. A great way to burn calories! And, after all… everyone knows how to ride a bicycle!

Cycle Fit/Abs/Weights: This is a Spin class, (see above) and it also incorporates free weights and core abdominal training.

Step: Intermediate to Advanced class designed for those who want an energetic step work-out.

Step to Better Assets: If you like to Step, but don't like remembering complex patterns, then this is the class for you! The moves are easier, but the workout is just as intense. Full muscle use and range of motion is incorporated. You will be introduced to various muscular conditioning exercises that focus on YOUR BETTER ASSET (Gluteus Maximus), all without using ANY weight other than your own body.

Muscle Fusion: Muscle Fusion offers a total body workout in a whole new way. After a short cardio warm-up and stretch, various pieces of equipment (step bench, weights, bands, Pilates circles, mats, balls etc.) are used to strengthen and tone arms, legs, back and abs. You will stretch after each exercise and end the class with a serene stretch cool-down routine that is well deserved. You will never know what you are capable of unless you continually seek out new ways to build upon your core strength and determination. Just Results.
