Cardio Area:
If you like to watch the 6:00 news or your daily T.V. show, make a date with the gym while you work on your cardio. Bike, walk or run using our treadmill or elliptical, step up to the Stepper or row to your heart’s content. It’s a great way to pass the time, while you’re giving your body a great cardio workout. Build endurance, burn calories, reduce stress, and increase your lung capacity, all at the same time.

Exercise:
The Free Weight Area is yours to discover: gain muscle or simply tone. There is a great variety of stationary equipment so you can isolate any given muscle group. If you are new to the fitness environment, or haven’t been in a gym for a while, we encourage you to take a few personal training sessions so you will have a better understanding of how the equipment works. Stretching is a key component before and after, so make sure you leave 5 to 10 minutes on either side of your workout to stretch out on our mats. Your body will say ‘Thank you’!

Energy offers up to 20 Group Fitness Classes to meet everyone’s fitness goals. All classes are included in your membership.

After a great workout, your muscles will benefit from increased protein. Protein promotes new cell growth throughout the body. Increasing protein intake after a workout helps the body form new muscle as well as rebuild existing tissue. Check out our Energy Café.

Group Fitness Studio:
Over 20 group fitness classes are offered weekly and are included in your membership. All classes cater to the beginner, intermediate or advanced level. So don’t feel intimidated. Come and join a class. Everyone in the class started out just like you. It has been said that it can take up to 4 weeks to really feel grounded in a class, depending upon how many times a week you participate. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll feel comfortable.
